I had a day off, pub meal with the family then back to Felixstowe for a couple of hours sailing late afternoon.With my meter only showing 8/10 kts I rigged 9.4 and took out the cat and beat 4 miles to Landguard and managed just to plan on the reach back to Bawdsey where the wind had picked up and I was reaching well in amongst the kitesurfers!!!!
I had a near death experience when I got my foot caught under my board in shallow water with the tide rushing out and finding myself under the sail but my foot came free with no damage done!!!!
